From Inverie a hard couple of days walking lies ahead around the rough area that surrounds the isolated and remote Loch Nevis. The northern shore is impassable and the only feasible route is through Glen Meadail which eventually drops down from the high pass into Camusrory.
However from here to the small holding at Tarbet there is no recognised path and great care and navigation skills are required to get from here to Tarbet.
From Tarbet there is a rough path that goes along the north shore of Loch Morar where it eventually ends at Morar. A short diversionary spur can take you north to Mallaig.
An alternative is to to take the ferry from Inverie which takes you directly to Mallaig.
