Crail to St Andrews
The path from Crail to St Andrews is probably the most difficult section of the Fife Coastal path as it invloves a section where care needs to be taken around a cliff. That said, the walk is a great one - skirting many of Fife (and Scotland's) best links golf courses such as Crail Balcomie links, Kingsbarns and then the new Castle course on the outskirts of St Andrews.
St Andrews is a fascinating University city - the ruins of the cathedral and the imposing structure of St Rule's tower dominate the skyline for miles as you approach the town on the Fife Coastal Path from the south.
